Allow me to tell you a little about myself.

All Songs Written and Sung By John Gibson

Through the years Rosie has been my soulmate playing keyboards and vocals. We formed different bands together the first being “Savannah” and played gigs and festivals all over the country. Leading on from this, we then bought a 52 seater coach, converted it into a tour bus and took the band off to tour Spain. Playing at different venues and festivals, being paid in cash but mostly paellas. Regrettably this was just after “9/11” and venues and air travel became restricted, so we decided to return home to the UK.

So we sold the coach and Rosie and I set out again playing country music across the country as a duo called “Keep it country”. Developing a style from the early stars such as, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Don Williams, John Denver, Don McLean, Paul Simon etc.

Our next big step was to air freight all the gear to the Canary Islands where we became Spanish residents on Fuerteventura playing various pool bars, pubs etc but finished up with an agent and playing the hotel circuit. We had our youngest son with us but because the schools and colleges on the island were not very highly rated we made the decision to move back to the UK to give him the higher level of education his talents deserved. We had only been back about 2 years when he contracted Hodgkin’s Lymphoma which put a stop to us performing because of all the hospital visits and general disruption it caused to family life.

I now concentrate on songwriting which I love, and have the help of https://www.bazzadamsmusic.com/ for the production and arrangements of my songs and also Richard Freeman @ Safety Zone Studios. Rosie and I still perform the occasional “gig” in the summer months, raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust”
